Set during the period between the VOC and the 1900s, Dapur Babah celebrates the romantic, almost-forgotten Babah culture, a culture resulted from the cross-marriage of the Chinese immigrants and the Javanese women during that era.
As with all the Tugu hotels and restaurants, every corner features antiques and artworks that belonged to old Babah families—old photographs, temple gates, carvings, benches and porcelains; old suitcases, kitchen utensils and more.
